HI! My name is Briana

Welcome to Montana Paddle Co!

My story

Hi! I’m a lifelong creative and entrepreneur with a deep love for Montana. I’ve been a professional photographer for nearly two decades, capturing everything from real-life love stories to stunning labor and deliveries. Six years ago, I opened my women’s clothing boutique—another dream come to life! I get to implement my love for fashion, human connection and photography all in one place. It’s been so amazing and humbling to build a thriving business alongside my best friend and see how it’s grown to what it is today!  I’m currently working on my real estate license to expand my love for design, homes, and connecting with people in meaningful ways.

No matter what direction life takes me, I’ve never been someone who fits into the 8–5 mold. I thrive on variety, creativity, and doing work that lights me up. When I'm not at my boutique or busy with a camera in my hand, I’m happiest at home or out on the water. I grew up alongside the Milk River and spent my childhood exploring its banks, but it’s the sunsets on Fort Peck Lake that truly do something special for me. There’s just something grounding and soul-soothing about being out there, especially in a kayak.

That love for peaceful escapes—and my desire to share them—is what led me to start Montana Paddle Co. I’ve always believed that calm, beautiful places should be easy to access. Whether you're local or visiting, I’m here to help you unplug, slow down, and enjoy the Montana that I’ve loved my whole life.

Our Values

About Us!

Hi, we're so glad you’re here.

In the hustle and bustle of life, sometimes you just need calmness—the kind you can only find when you're surrounded by nature, unplugged, and moving with the rhythm of the water. Glasgow is nestled right in with the 'Mighty Milk' and Fort Peck Lake, many of our core memories and future adventures are tied to their waters. That connection to water has never left us.

As life got busier, we started craving a simple escape—something close to home, low-prep, and soul-soothing. Kayaking became that for us. Over the years, we collected a handful of kayaks just for personal use, but soon enough, friends and neighbors were asking to borrow them. It made us realize how many people were also craving that same kind of peaceful getaway.

That’s when the idea for Montana Paddle Co. was born.

We’re lucky to live in such a unique spot—just 20 minutes from Fort Peck Lake and surrounded by some of the most beautiful paddling waters in northeastern Montana. If you’ve ever experienced a sunset on Fort Peck Lake, you know how special it can be! If you haven’t, put that on top of your bucket list! We wanted to make it easy for locals and visitors alike to grab a paddle and reconnect with nature—without needing to haul gear on your vacation or spend hours planning.

Whether you're a seasoned paddler or just looking for a relaxing way to spend an afternoon, I hope Montana Paddle Co. becomes your go-to for adventure, calm, and a little slice of freedom on the water.
