Montana Paddle Co. – Terms and Conditions 1. Rental Agreement By renting equipment from Montana Paddle Co., the renter agrees to abide by all terms and assumes full responsibility for the equipment and personal conduct during the rental period.

2. Age Requirement Renters must be at least 18 years old. Participants under 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

3. Valid ID Required All renters must present a valid government-issued ID at time of rental.

4. Safety First All renters are required to wear a provided U.S. Coast Guard-approved personal flotation device (PFD) while on the water. Instructions and a safety briefing will be provided.

5. Rental Period & Late Returns Rental times must be adhered to. Late returns may be subject to additional fees.

6. Cancellations & RefundsFull refund for cancellations made 48 hours in advance.50% refund for cancellations made 24–48 hours in advance.No refund for cancellations made less than 24 hours before rental time.Weather-related cancellations will be handled case-by-case and may be rescheduled or refunded at Montana Paddle Co.'s discretion.

7. Damage or Loss The renter is responsible for any damage beyond normal wear or loss of equipment during the rental period. Fees may apply for repair or replacement.

8. Assumption of Risk Kayaking involves inherent risks. By participating, renters acknowledge and accept those risks and release Montana Paddle Co. from any liability related to injury, loss, or damage.

9. Alcohol & Substance Policy No alcohol or drugs may be consumed before or during use of the rental equipment. Violation of this policy will result in immediate termination of the rental without refund.

10. Weather & Water Conditions Montana Paddle Co. reserves the right to cancel or reschedule rentals due to unsafe conditions including high winds, storms, or other factors that could jeopardize safety.

11. Respect for Nature We follow Leave No Trace principles and ask all renters to respect wildlife, water sources, and the natural environment.

12. Right to Refuse Service We reserve the right to refuse rentals to any individuals who appear intoxicated, reckless, or unfit for paddling.
